『天損之人 The Chosen One』 Music Video
As a cinematographer for the music video 「天損之人 The Chosen One」 by Panther Chan 陳蕾
This time, we want to depict a youth ensemble with a slightly clumsy, somewhat idle, almost manga-like atmosphere, inspired by the 80s and 90s.
One of the things we’d like to explore in this shoot is how to balance a rough, documentary-style texture with more deliberately composed setups and direction.
And as a small personal shooting tip: even when we say “OK!”, we try not to cut right away. In that extra moment, we often end up capturing unexpectedly interesting expressions or movements.
今回は、80〜90年代の、少し不器用で、何となく時間を持て余していて、どこか漫画的な雰囲気のある青春群像を描きたいと思っています。
粗さの残るドキュメンタリー的な質感と、セットアップされた構図や演出のバランスをどう取るかが、今回の撮影で試したいポイントです。
個人的な小さな撮影のコツとしては、監督が「OK！」と言ってもすぐにカットしないこと。その間に、面白い表情や動きが撮れてしまうことがよくありますね。
